      <image:title>Home - Me as a Therapist</image:title>
<image:caption>Let’s help untangle where you feel stuck… I work with thoughtful individuals and couples in San Francisco and throughout California who feel stuck in patterns that leave them feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or uncertain—whether those patterns show up internally through self-criticism and anxiety or within their relationships through conflict and disconnection. For those seeking individual therapy, I help you better understand the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that shape how you see yourself and the world around you. Together, we will work to quiet the cycle of racing thoughts, build greater confidence in your decisions, and explore the deeper emotions underneath self-doubt, perfectionism, and the feeling that something about you is not quite enough. I support people who worry that their feelings are "wrong," focus heavily on how others perceive them, or carry the fear that something is wrong with them at their core. For those seeking couples therapy, I help you and your partner understand the painful cycle underneath the same arguments you find yourselves having again and again. Rather than focusing only on the conflict itself, we will explore the emotions and needs that drive the pattern, deepen your understanding of one another, and practice new ways of responding that create greater connection, safety, and support within your relationship.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About Me and My Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>First and foremost, I love what I do. I feel incredibly grateful to sit with people during some of the most meaningful, challenging, and vulnerable moments of their lives. I believe therapy is a place where you can slow down, better understand yourself, and begin to untangle the patterns that leave you feeling stuck. My path to becoming a therapist began at the University of California, Berkeley, where I earned my B.A. in Psychology. After gaining experience working in different communities and fields throughout the Bay Area, I returned to Berkeley to pursue my M.A. in Counseling Psychology at The Wright Institute. Before launching my private practice, I worked at a nonprofit mental health agency in the East Bay, where I provided therapy to adolescents and later became a Program Supervisor overseeing multiple teams. While I valued the agency’s mission and the opportunity to support both clients and clinicians, I ultimately missed the depth and connection of one-on-one clinical work. Returning to private practice allowed me to focus on what I value most: creating meaningful therapeutic relationships and helping people better understand themselves. I know how powerful it can be to have a person you can turn to when you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to make sense of what is happening inside of you. My role is to provide a space where you can feel understood while also helping you explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Clients and colleagues describe me as warm, approachable, humorous, compassionate, and direct. I believe therapy can be both supportive and challenging—we can create a space where you feel accepted while also working toward meaningful change. I work with clients in both longer-term, growth-oriented therapy and shorter-term, solution-focused work depending on your goals. My approach is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic and attachment-based theories, cognitive behavioral therapy, and evidence-based approaches to help you better understand yourself and create lasting change. I have received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and have completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.</image:caption>
